Burials

If you are visiting this page because you have experienced a miscarriage, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope these resources ease your burden as you prepare to bury your little baby. If you have not experienced a miscarriage, but are here to assist someone who has, thank you for helping them navigate this difficult time in their life.

Sometimes a family can feel alone in their desire to bury their baby. This may be because they have never known someone who experienced a miscarriage or who was able to bury their miscarried baby. You are allowed to provide a dignified burial for your miscarried baby, no matter how small he or she may be. Do not feel you are being a burden on others with your desire to do so. There may be a lot of decisions to make during a time of great grief, but after they are made, there can be great comfort in being able to visit your baby’s final resting place.

We hope the following information is of help to you during this time. Please note that no information here should be considered legal or medical advice.
